Day 6: Branded Woman , Wade Miller. A fun, pulp thriller told from a unique female perspective. You won't soon forget Cay Morgan! Lots of lush atmosphere and twisty plot turns. I'm shocked that a film version was never attempted. It seemed tailor-made for hard-boiled actresses like Lauren Bacall, Barbara Stanwyck or Lizabeth Scott.
